NOTD: Abstract Pink

Hello beautiful ladies!

This summer sun is really getting me in a better mood! :D

Today I wanned to show you that you can achieve cute nails without creating perfect shapes! And I'm not talking about water marble or splashing, just lines, strokes that overall can give your nails and extra something wihtout that much effort.

Here I used:

  • Rimmel 291 "Urban Princess" as my base colour
  • Flormar Supermatte M117 for the semi-roses underneath the silver (ring finger)
  • Golden Rose 132 - the Silver
  • Olivia (by Orkide) 350 a rosy glitter for the "branch-like" design (thumb, pointer, pinkie)
  • Flormar Supermatte M112 - the Dark Purple (middle finger)
  • Pink rhinestone from a wheel

Hope you like this!

Have a fabulous summer guys!

Hello gorgeous ladies!

I feel spring is right around the corner so I thought I would welcome it with this colorful and very springy design!

What I used for this cute design:

  • Flormar 424 (Minty Green - super trendy this spring) - 2 coats
  • Acrylic paints - Red&White for the 2 shades of pink
  • Acrylic paint - Black for branches and stems
Hope you give this design a try!
It's very simple and you can make mistakes and still get a cute result!:D

NOTD: Daisies Popping in Grass

Hello ladies!

This is my first NOTD for Spring 2012! I'm so excited for this awful weather to finally get warmer and have plenty of sun and colorful little flowers everywhere! And take long walks in the park! Ohhh how I've waited for spring...so I decided to celebrate this season with a colorful and very cheerful design of bigger and smaller daisies on a grassy-like green :D

I used:

  • Gabrini no 401 (green base)
  • Acrylic paints in: white, yellow and pink
  • Small detail brush
  • Top coat
Hope you liked it!
Have a sunny and colorful spring!

NOTD: Grey & Pink Leopard Accent

Hey beautiful ladies!

This must be one of my favorite designs since it is so fast and so effective. You can use so many combinations to recreate this that anyone can find 3 nail polishes to match.

Or you can skip the glitter if you're not into that look and it will still look super cute and glamorous.

 Hope you enjoyed this!

NOTD: Dark Grey and Cream Rosebuds

Hey girls!

New simple manicure and of course I wanned to share it!

I'm gonna try my best to post at least once every week but my problem is not the time it takes me to post, but the lack of time to do a "worthy" design lately :D

But I'm gonna just show you what I came up with and not 1 but 2 ways to wear this design depending on your personal preference. I prefer the second one, but that's just me :D

Hope you enjoyed this and you give it a try!

So without further ado I give you "On the Blues":

I really hope you like it!

NOTD: Newspaper nails (Super Easy Nail Technique!)

Hi gorgeous!

I've seen this technique a while back and I've been meaning to try it out and I was super excited about showing you guys!

Well here it is! All you need is:
- Base coat
- Base color (any matte light pastel color)
- Rubbing alcohol
- Some old newspaper
- Top coat

First you will obviously apply your favorite base coat, then 1-2 coats of your choice nail polish depending of it's opacity. Then you will add some rubbing alcohol in a glass and working with one finger at a time, you will first dip it for 5-7 seconds in alcohol and then using cutouts from the newspaper apply them firmly onto the DRY nail bed and you will have the coolest nails in town! :D

On the bottom one I used a Sudoku type of cutout just for fun :))

Hope you enjoy this and let me know how it turns out if you try this!

Quote of the post: "Keep Calm and stay Classy!"

XOXO

So I decided to do probably one of my last summer nail designs and here's what I came up with:

Hope you liked it!
Enjoy the last days of summer and take care!

NOTD: Rapunzel Nails

Hello everyone!

Today's nail design is so so simple but I really think the final result is pretty cool :D I saw somewhere on the internet a combination similar to this one and it was called "Rapunzel" and although I'm not sure why, I couldn't think of a better name: it's girly yet flirty and cute but it has the princess feel from the rhinestones. The technique I used is the sponge one and I only added some rhinestones to create the half-flowers :D

But enough about it I'm sure you're pretty curious by now :D Here it is:

I'm sorry about the quality but I was in a big hurry and I wanned to post this since I've been gone for so long
:(

Hope you've enjoyed!

Remake-Blue Flowers on Orange Gradient Nails

Hey guys!

I had to paint my nails again today and because I just loved the last nail design so much and I'm still wearing it on my toes, I decided to do a remake of it but this time with a little twist. So I added 3 colours to the gradient base: yellow and the previous 2 shades of orange.

And this is the final result!

I'd love to know which one you liked best :D

Have a great weekend!

Colourful Zebra Print Nails

Hey guys!

Today I'll be showing you a very funky and crazy nail design that I made and I don't really remember where I got my inspiration for this but I do know I got alot of compliments on it :D

I don't think you can see so well in the pictures but I used 3 colours: pastel yellow, pastel green and a nice pink as a base, just horizontal large stripes to cover my whole nail and I've blended them a little at the line where they meet (wih a needle or a toothpick while they're still wet). Then I used black acrylic paint and a striping brush to create the zebra print. And I just added topcoat and a matte topcoat for the ring finger.

       Hope you like it!
