NOTD: Abstract Pink

Hello beautiful ladies!

This summer sun is really getting me in a better mood! :D

Today I wanned to show you that you can achieve cute nails without creating perfect shapes! And I'm not talking about water marble or splashing, just lines, strokes that overall can give your nails and extra something wihtout that much effort.

Here I used:

  • Rimmel 291 "Urban Princess" as my base colour
  • Flormar Supermatte M117 for the semi-roses underneath the silver (ring finger)
  • Golden Rose 132 - the Silver
  • Olivia (by Orkide) 350 a rosy glitter for the "branch-like" design (thumb, pointer, pinkie)
  • Flormar Supermatte M112 - the Dark Purple (middle finger)
  • Pink rhinestone from a wheel

Hope you like this!

Have a fabulous summer guys!

NOTD: Daisies Popping in Grass

Hello ladies!

This is my first NOTD for Spring 2012! I'm so excited for this awful weather to finally get warmer and have plenty of sun and colorful little flowers everywhere! And take long walks in the park! Ohhh how I've waited for spring...so I decided to celebrate this season with a colorful and very cheerful design of bigger and smaller daisies on a grassy-like green :D

I used:

  • Gabrini no 401 (green base)
  • Acrylic paints in: white, yellow and pink
  • Small detail brush
  • Top coat
Hope you liked it!
Have a sunny and colorful spring!

NOTD: Magnetic Nail polish Flormar

Hello ladies!

Today's post is about magnetic nail polishes. Yes, they've been around for quite a while and many nail polish brands have had them for the past year or so but now I'm very excited because my favorite nail polish brand which is Flormar has recently launched their new magnetic line in my country. For the moment the collection features 8 beautiful colors  to choose from:

I chose number 02 although on the bottle sais 03 (dunno if the chart is wrong or the label on my bottle) and it's a beautiful metallic teal color. The application goes very smooth, it s thin yet very opaque nail polish, and as for the magnetic part, you can use the plastic thing it comes with or take the magnet out (which is what I did) and that in my opinion gives you an easier manipulation since you have to take the magnet quite close to the very wet nail polish in order to get an even result, but you can easily mess up and touch the nail, ruining the design.
I have to admit I did mess up quite a few times -maybe 3-4 nails- before I got the hangs of it but now I love doing it so so much because it's a beautiful design that will give an easy and fast sleek manicure that is bound to draw al ot of "OMG" and "WOW"'s wherever you go! ;)

This is my result:

NOTD: Dark Grey and Cream Rosebuds

Hey girls!

New simple manicure and of course I wanned to share it!

I'm gonna try my best to post at least once every week but my problem is not the time it takes me to post, but the lack of time to do a "worthy" design lately :D

But I'm gonna just show you what I came up with and not 1 but 2 ways to wear this design depending on your personal preference. I prefer the second one, but that's just me :D

Hope you enjoyed this and you give it a try!

XOXO

NOTD: Colorful French Tips

Hi lovely ladies,

Today I'm gonna make a quick post showing you what my nail look like these days. I've been loving this design and I think i'm gonna keep it for a while :D

You can do your own take on this using just 2 - 3 colors, you can go for different shades of the same color or you can go for neon colors but no matter what you choose just have fun with it!

After applying a nude base color make colorful french tips on each nail You can make them as thin or as thick as you like.

Hope you like it!
Don't forget to smile!

XOXO
